About the Organization
Monitoring (South), Organisation, Bangalore, Karnataka Mon (S) organisation is responsible for:
- 1. Appraisal of medium projects of Karnataka
- 2. Monitoring of schemes under general monitoring, AIBP, CAD Programme and restoration of water bodies and appraisal of medium irrigation projects in Karnataka, and Goa
- 3. Supervising the works related to Environmental Management Committees of three major projects in Karnataka
- 4. Vetting of proposals under Tungabhadra on reclamation of work of waterlogged areas.
Chief Engineer (Mon-S) is assisted by Superintending Engineer (Coordination), Bangalore, Director (Monitoring), Bangalore and Director, Appraisal, Bangalore. The organization chart is depicted below;
