Human Resource Management (HRM)

This wing, aside from what appears next, also deals with service matters of officials belonging to cadres other than CWES Gr 'A' cadre. CE, HRM, being its head, periodically reviews the recruitment/promotion aspects of all cadres.This Wing is responsible for, coordination of technical activities of CWC with DoWR, RD and within CWC particularly parliament questions related matters, providing assistance to Chairman, CWC in technical activities associated with water resources sector.It is also responsible to arrange and co-ordinates activities related to training programmes/ seminars/workshops on Jal Kranti etc. in fields of water Resources Sector for in-service offices of CWC and other Central/State Govt. Departments and their Organizations, Development of training facilities and infrastructure in all field organizations. Further it is responsible for maintenance of office premises in Sewa Bhawan, West Block No.1 and West Block No 2, which include regular upkeep of space occupied by CWC, procurement and distribution of stationery, office furniture etc., installation/shifting/ maintenance of telephones provided at office & residence of officers and maintenance of EPBAX, fax, water coolers, photo-copying machines, cars and other, vehicles for CWC headquarters.Secretary, CWC , HRM Wing is looking after establishment matters of officers belonging CWES and matters related to vigilance, accounts, budget, O&M, Commission meetings etc. Secretary, CWC is also designated as Vigilance Officer and Grievance officer for CWC.

CWC is responsible for Monitoring of Flood situation through Central Flood Control Room during monsson period.
